Zhitong Finance APP news, Future Data Group (08229) announced that on December 13, 2024, the company's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Future AI Technology Co., Ltd. (Future AI) signed a non-legally binding letter of intent with Meirisha Industrial Operation (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (Meirisha) regarding a potential strategic cooperation related to data in the big health field.
Meirisha plans to establish a new big health data operation center in Luohu, Shenzhen, China. The company and Meirisha intend to collaborate on processing big health data within Luohu to develop business in the following areas:
(a) Big health data management: By collecting and organizing data in the big health field, using Algorithm Models and AI intelligent analysis systems to provide high-performance computing for end-user data, aiming to rapidly provide scientific advice in the big health field to end-users.
(b) AI data empowerment services: Providing clients with services and applications integrated with the AI application systems and Algorithm Model created by Meirisha, involving a series of data analysis systems in areas such as human medicine, chronic disease management, gene screening, and skin management. This AI application platform will continuously integrate more Algorithm Model applications to provide clients with more services in the big health field.
(c) Based on the company's project experience in the South Korean market, leveraging Meirisha's data technology resources support and its various algorithm's mathematical models to promote the application of big health data, thus further developing strategic cooperation in multiple fields such as data management, digital model construction, and AI algorithm application.
In the aftermath of COVID-19 and the global pandemic, public health issues have gained widespread attention from various sectors in major cities. Especially, the health service industry or big health industry in China is rapidly developing. The Board of Directors believes that the cooperation may provide a framework for collaboration between the company and Meirisha, allowing both parties to cooperatively develop big health data-related businesses within this framework. The company hopes that the big health big data platform will facilitate the group in further broadening and expanding its business scope in the application of AI computing power. The Board of Directors believes that the cooperation intended under the letter of intent is established in the process of the company's daily operations, and entering into the letter of intent with Meirisha aligns with the company's strategic plans and business development needs. The terms of the cooperation are fair and reasonable, and align with the overall interests of the company and its Shareholders.
