Tesla has officially launched the Advanced Smart Summon (Actually Smart Summon, ASS) feature in China.
According to Zhichun Finance APP, following the USA, Europe, and the Middle East, Tesla (TSLA.US) has officially launched the Advanced Smart Summon (Actually Smart Summon, ASS) feature in China.
This American electric car manufacturer announced on Weibo on December 13 that the ASS feature has been launched in China, allowing Tesla owners to operate their vehicles via the mobile Tesla app, enabling the car to move from a parking space to the owner's location or to a designated spot specified by the owner on the phone, while maintaining visibility of the vehicle during its movement.
It is noteworthy that the feature will subsequently be PUSHed to owners through OTA remote Software updates. This feature is applicable to models equipped with Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) or Full Self-Driving (FSD) capabilities. This means that owners with the free Basic Autopilot (BAP) cannot use this feature.
In China, the cost of FSD is 0.064 million yuan, and the cost of EAP is 0.032 million yuan.
It is understood that Tesla officially launched the ASS feature in the USA in September this year and brought the feature to Europe and the Middle East last month.
