The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission stated that it welcomes the Hong Kong Exchange (00388.HK) to launch a comprehensive Fund platform and set up a Fund database in the first phase to provide investors with a one-stop service for accessing retail Fund information. The Executive Director of the Commission's Investment Products Division, Choi Fung-yi, pointed out that with the activation of the Fund database, the rich News will not only enhance product transparency but also help investors make informed investment decisions and promote retail investor participation in the Hong Kong Fund market.

The Hong Kong Exchange announced other functions to be launched on the comprehensive Fund platform, including a Business platform and a communication network to assist Fund managers in conducting Fund transactions with distributors through a business-to-business approach. Choi Fung-yi believes that once other parts of the project are subsequently launched, the fully operational platform will help establish an electronic ecosystem for retail Fund distribution, expressing gratitude to industry stakeholders for their support of the new platform and will continue to work closely with the Exchange and other related parties to fully implement the project.
