According to Bloomberg on December 13, the Apple self-developed wireless chip will be launched in new products to be released in 2025. This plan is independent from Apple's highly anticipated plan to replace Qualcomm's wireless modem, but the two parts will ultimately work together. The chips for Apple's iPhone and home wireless devices are close to switching from Broadcom supply to self-developed products. The internal code for Apple's self-developed wireless chip is Proxima, which will be launched for iPad and Mac in 2026. Like Apple's other self-developed chips, Proxima will be produced by partner Taiwan Semiconductor.
