Kawasaki Heavy Industries will begin selling the industrial robot programming support software “NeoRoset (NeoRoset)” (hereafter, this software), which can easily perform robot system construction studies, starting 2024/12/12 (Thursday). In the future, we plan to gradually start selling overseas as well. With this software, we can optimize business processes, reduce man-hours, and improve quality in all phases from design/review of production equipment and production lines when customers install our industrial robots to operation/maintenance after installation.
The main features of this software are as follows.
<Main features>
1) | Intuitive operation is possible
・ | It has a simple user interface, and robot programs can be created visually (Operability has been greatly improved compared to the offline programming tool “K-ROSET (K-ROSET)” for robots that we have been selling for a long time)
2) | Practical features | |
・ | CAD file import support as standard
・ | Layouts for robots, peripherals, etc. can be easily created
・ | High-accuracy simulation equivalent to an actual machine is possible using a virtual controller*1 and a virtual teaching pendant*2
・ | It has specialized functions tailored to application applications, and system startup time can be reduced by constructing a digital twin at the actual site
・ | Simulation results can be easily exported as video files or 3D PDFs
・ | In addition to handling applications, painting/sealing applications, arc welding applications, and spot welding applications, it is also newly compatible with robots for semiconductor manufacturing equipment |
It's easy to build a digital twin |
In the future, in order to further improve convenience, we are planning an update soon that will integrate the teaching function of “KCONG (KCONG),” an automatic teaching software for robots sold by our company, and expand the functions with each application.
Since announcing the first domestically produced industrial robot in 1969, Kawasaki Heavy Industries has been developing and supplying industrial robots in many fields, starting with the automobile industry. Going forward, we will continue to contribute to industrial automation and labor saving by continuing to provide cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions through robot products.
※1 | Virtual controller: A software reproduction of a device for use in the operation and control of an industrial robot
※2 | Virtual teaching pendant: a software reproduction of a device for use in programming and teaching industrial robots |
