1. Siri voice commands: With the integration of ChatGPT, Siri can suggest that users access ChatGPT for certain requests and can provide responses directly.

OpenAI ChatGPT engineering manager Dave Cummings explained during Wednesday's demonstration, "When Siri thinks that handing a task over to ChatGPT would be helpful, it will directly assign the task to someone else."

2. Writing Tools: Users can leverage ChatGPT to create text from scratch. Moreover, with this feature, users can also utilize ChatGPT's image generation capability to add images next to the written content, further enriching the text.

3. Visual Intelligence: Users can access the visual intelligence feature by clicking the "Camera Control" button. After opening the camera and pointing the lens at an object, users can either use Google to search the web or use ChatGPT to learn more about the content being viewed. Users can also perform other tasks, such as translating or summarizing text.

In addition, according to the official website, users can choose whether to enable ChatGPT integration and have full control over when to use it and what information to share with ChatGPT.

Apple stated: "Users can access ChatGPT for free without creating an account, and it includes privacy protection features—users' IP addresses will be hidden, OpenAI will not store user requests, nor will it use this data for model training. For users who choose to link their accounts, ChatGPT's data usage policy will apply."

In addition, ChatGPT Plus subscribers can connect their accounts and access paid features.

This collaboration initially did not involve cash payments. Apple believes that the immense distribution potential of its devices is sufficient to compensate OpenAI. Currently, both parties are exploring future revenue-sharing agreements surrounding the ChatGPT premium subscription.
