The CUHK published a second-hand house price map in the top 10 cities in November 2024, showing that in November, the average price of second-hand homes in 100 cities decreased by 0.57% month-on-month, a decrease of 0.03 percentage points from the previous month. The first-line city second-hand housing market was active, with the average price of second-hand homes in the top 10 cities decreasing by 0.17% month-on-month, a decrease of 0.16 percentage points from the previous month. Among them, second-hand residential prices in Shenzhen and Chengdu rose by 0.21% and 0.12% on a month-on-month basis, breaking the overall decline of the 100 cities for seven consecutive months.
Industry experts say that core city second-hand home transactions are expected to continue at high levels under the “purchase tax reduction” policy, and prices are expected to continue to rebound.
