JetBlue Airways (JBLU.US) plans to add Mini-Mint or Junior Mint miniature first-class seats on its aircraft in 2026.
JetBlue Airways President Marty St. George stated in a briefing to employees that all Airbus aircraft not equipped with Mint lie-flat seats will feature two or three rows of first-class seats.
He mentioned that Mint lie-flat seats cannot be installed on shorter flights, so the company must offer a solution for passengers willing to pay more for space on shorter flights, thus introducing the Mini-Mint or Junior Mint miniature first-class seats.
