On December 11, Financial Associated Press reported (Editor: Huang Junzhi) that Eric Trump, the son of elected president Trump in the USA, said on Tuesday that after his father takes office, his administration will be the most friendly towards Cryptos in the history of the USA.

In his keynote speech at the Bitcoin Middle East and North Africa Conference held in the UAE, he told the audience, "You will welcome the most Cryptos-friendly president in the history of the USA."

He promised that the USA would play a leading role in the "digital revolution," which echoed what elected president Trump said during the campaign. Eric believes that Cryptos can provide financial solutions for millions of people "disappointed with the modern world."

"The traditional banking system is outdated," he added.

Eric further explained that after the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, Cryptos became the "economic lifeline" for the Trump family. After the riot, several major Banks and Other companies cut ties with Trump and his allies, which also made them realize the potential of Cryptos.

This also explains why Trump's attitude towards Cryptos underwent a 180-degree turnaround, starkly different from his first term.

"If it weren't for these attacks, I don't think I would be so open to the crypto industry," he added.

This is not the first time Eric has spoken out for his father and Cryptos. Earlier this month, he said, "I think the USA will become the world's capital of Cryptos. I totally support it. My father fully supports it. You know, our family is fully embracing it. We believe in DeFi (Decentralized Finance)… we believe this is the way of the future."

"Once again, you know, the USA better lead the trend, otherwise we will fall behind a lot," he added.

Trump himself has recently taken numerous actions, indicating his determination to fulfill his campaign promises. Last Wednesday, Eastern Time, Trump appointed Paul Atkins as the next chairman of the USA Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As Atkins has always been a supporter of the Cryptos field, Bitcoin's price surged past the 0.1 million dollar mark, although it later retreated.

Then, on the following Thursday, Eastern Time, Trump appointed David O. Sacks, the former Chief Operating Officer of Global Payments PayPal, as the head of AI and Cryptos affairs at the White House. This latest appointment marks the first time the US federal government has a dedicated position responsible for Cryptos and AI policy.

He had previously pledged to make the USA the global capital of Cryptos and supported the idea of establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve. As investors increasingly see Trump’s commitment to embracing Cryptos, they are all "following in".

Data shows that since the election day on November 5, twelve funds launched by issuers including Blackrock and Fidelity Investments have attracted about 9.9 billion dollars in net inflow, helping the total assets of such funds rise to about 113 billion dollars.

In addition, data from the Cryptos analytics firm CoinGecko indicates that since Trump was elected as President of the USA, the total market capitalization of the Cryptos market has surged by about 1.2 trillion dollars.
