SEACON (02409) announced that on December 10, 2024, the charterer (the company's indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary Jasper Shipping Ltd) and the owner CIMC Centaurus Limited entered into a finance lease arrangement. According to this, the charterer agrees to sell the Ship to the owner for a price of 3 million USD as per the memorandum of agreement; the owner agrees to lease the Ship to the charterer under a bareboat charter; and the company will execute a guarantee deed for the benefit of the owner.

The Ship is a Chemicals vessel built in 2009 with a gross tonnage of 3,115 tons, acquired by the group in 2016.
