According to a report by CCTV News, the "Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage" project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will officially open to traffic tomorrow (11th) at 3 PM. In the future, the driving time from Zhuhai to Jiangmen will be reduced from over 1 hour to approximately 30 minutes, and there will be no toll charges for the road in the early stage of the project's opening.
The report indicates that the "Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage" is a western extension of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, starting from Pingsha Town in Zhuhai City and ending in Doushan Town in Taishan City, with a total length of about 31 kilometers, of which approximately 14 kilometers is over the sea.
