Daibutsu Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) is promoting the "XR Communication Business*1" which integrates real and virtual spaces using XR (Extended Reality) technology to enhance people's experiential values. Recently, related to this business, it has acquired the certification of JIP-ISMS517-1.0, which is based on the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (JIS Q 27001:2023) and ISO/IEC 27017:2015 (JIS Q 27017:2016) regarding the Information Security Management System (ISMS) cloud security certification requirements (certification criteria).
This certification is granted to companies that meet strict standards for protecting information assets and establishing data management systems in cloud environments. DNP will further promote activities to provide services related to the XR communication business, such as in the Metaverse space, in a safe and secure manner.

Background and Purpose of Certification Acquisition

In recent years, with the increase in cloud services for companies and municipalities, there has been a demand for safe and secure handling of personal information and the establishment and operation of information security management systems.
DNP is also promoting information security management to protect various data, including user information, starting with the XR communication business. To continue these activities more systematically and to provide safer and more secure services, it has reached the acquisition of various certifications.
