Gelonghui December 10 | Dow Chemical announced the sale of a 40% stake in its usa Gulf infrastructure assets, granting it to a fund under australia's Macquarie Asset Management, cashing out 2.4 billion USD. Under the agreement, the two companies will establish a new joint venture, Diamond Infrastructure Solutions, to acquire infrastructure assets in the Gulf, including electrical utilities, pipelines, and steam production. This joint venture will provide services to Dow and other industrial customers. Additionally, if Macquarie exercises its additional subscription rights within six months to increase its stake to 49%, Dow could cash out a total of 3 billion USD. Dow stated that the trade helps the group enhance the value of some non-core assets and allows it to focus on developing its core chemical business.
