Dave Watson, the CEO of comcast's cable business, stated on Monday that due to ongoing market competition, the company expects to lose more than 0.1 million broadband users in the fourth quarter. The stock recently fell by over 9%.
Watson pointed out that the fourth quarter is likely to mirror the situation in the first half of the year, when the company lost nearly 0.1 million customers each quarter. He added that even with the ongoing trend in cable television, comcast's broadband business remains stable in the high-end internet package segment.
