December 8 marks the 20th birthday of Alipay and ant group co., ltd. On that day, some employees from around the global gathered at the headquarters of ant group co., ltd. in Hangzhou to pay tribute to their original ideals through a birthday carnival, a relay run through time, volunteer activities, and more, celebrating the 20th anniversary together. Jack Ma first extended his heartfelt blessings to the 20-year-old ant group co., ltd. He said: I am very happy to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Alipay with everyone here. I represent the earliest founding group to pay tribute to Alipay, to pay tribute to the ant group co., ltd., and to wish the ant group co., ltd. well!

He stated, "Today, I am not here to celebrate the past 20 years of the ant group co., ltd., but to focus on the future 20 years of the ant group co., ltd."

Jack Ma said that each era presents different opportunities and challenges for every generation, but not everyone can seize these opportunities and challenges. Twenty years ago, when the internet was just emerging, our generation was fortunate to grasp the opportunities of the internet era. The changes that the AI era will bring in the next 20 years will exceed everyone's imagination, because AI will be a much greater era.

Jack Ma expressed: "AI will change everything, but that does not mean AI can determine everything. While technology is important, what will truly decide victory or defeat in the future is what we are doing today that is truly valuable and unique for the coming era."

He said, "What we can still do in the future should remain true to what we have insisted on in the past 20 years, which is to let technology bring progress and change to the lives of every ordinary lbx pharmacy chain joint stock. We want AI to empower our sentiments, and we also want sentiments to empower our AI!"

It is worth noting that yesterday morning, the chairman and CEO of ant group co., ltd., Jing Xiandong, announced through a letter to all employees that, according to the resolution of the board of directors, the president Han Xinyi will officially take over as CEO of ant group co., ltd. starting from March 1, 2025, fully responsible for all of ant's business and daily management work. In the future, Jing Xiandong will focus on the work of the chairman and fully support Han Xinyi and the management team.

Handing over to the younger generation at the right time and promoting orderly succession to drive the company's continuous advancement is a consistent tradition of ant. In 2016, ant's chairman and CEO, Peng Lei, passed the relay baton of CEO to Jing Xiandong, and the appointment email at that time stated "the continuous self-confidence in talent," allowing ant to "dare to give young people greater responsibilities, stages, and challenges."
