①Rocket Lab CEO Peter Beck welcomed NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, nominated by Trump, believing it is bullish for the industry; ② Isaacman is a passionate aerospace enthusiast with a close relationship with SpaceX; ③ Beck stated that having an astronaut manage NASA is positive and requires a deep understanding of the industry.
According to the Financial Associated Press on December 6 (Editor Zhao Hao), Peter Beck, CEO of the American aerospace company Rocket Lab USA, Inc., said Thursday (December 5) that the nomination of Jared Isaacman as NASA Administrator by President-elect Trump is good news for the industry.
The previous day, Trump announced the nomination of billionaire Jared Isaacman for NASA Administrator. Isaacman has purchased a space flight service from SpaceX and completed the first commercial spacewalk by humans in September this year.

Isaacman has a passionate interest in the aerospace field. According to media reports, Isaacman co-funded the spacewalk mission in September with SpaceX, and he also invested an undisclosed amount in Musk's company.
Due to Isaacman's close relationship with Musk, speculation arises that SpaceX may obtain more contracts and favorable policies from NASA, which would be detrimental to its major competitors, including Rocket Lab.
However, Beck told the media that he welcomes Trump's nomination, as it will be bullish for the industry, stating, "Having an astronaut manage NASA is a wonderful thing. You must have a deep understanding of this industry. It's positive to have a passionate person lead this institution."
Peter Beck is a New Zealand entrepreneur who founded Rocket Lab in New Zealand in 2006, moved the headquarters to Long Beach, California in 2013, and went public on the Nasdaq through a SPAC merger in 2021.

Rocket Lab has launched missions in both the usa and New Zealand, and is the second largest rocket launch company in the usa. Influenced by the "Trump trade", Rocket Lab's stock price rose nearly 155% last month, and the company's total market capitalization is close to 12 billion dollars.
In October of this year, Rocket Lab received a contract from NASA to explore the possibility of retrieving rock samples from Mars and bringing them back to Earth. Beck acknowledged, "In some ways, Trump's nomination may seem less friendly to the company, but I believe the system will manage all conflicts."
