Hyatt Hotels Group (H.US) announced plans to establish over 50 hotels globally by 2026, covering luxury brands like Park Hyatt, Alila, and Miraval, as well as lifestyle brands such as Andaz, Thompson Hotels, and the newly acquired Standard International.
The group aims to open the 'Miraval Red Sea' resort on Shura Island in Saudi Arabia by the end of next year, marking Miraval's first expansion into the overseas market. Plans are also in place to open the first urban resort-style Alila hotel 'Alila Shanghai' in Shanghai.
At the same time, Hyatt Hotels has established a lifestyle business group, which will be headquartered in New York and plans to set up offices in Austin and Bangkok, led by President and Creative Director Amar Lalvani, former Executive Chairman of Standard International.
