According to Zhizhong Financial APP, Jinhui Holdings (00137) announced that the board of directors is pleased to disclose that the buyer Jinzhou Marine Inc., which holds approximately 55.69% equity in the company, has entered into an agreement on December 4, 2024, with the seller Sea Seventeen Leasing Co., Ltd. regarding the acquisition of the ship. The purchase price of the ship is $24.52 million. The ship will be delivered from the seller to the buyer between January 1, 2025, and February 28, 2025.

The ship "GREAT CENTURY" is a limit flexible type ship with a deadweight of approximately 0.0614 million metric tons, built in 2017 by Dalian Cosco Shipping Kawasaki Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. The seller guarantees that the ship will not have any leasing, property burdens, mortgages, maritime liens, or any other liabilities at the time of delivery. The ship will be delivered to the group on a basis of no lease.

The group's main business is international ship leasing and ship ownership. Despite recent developments in the shipping market, the directors have been monitoring the current state of the shipping industry and continue to seek to fine-tune the quality of the fleet and appropriately adjust the group's fleet composition. The directors believe that the acquisition of the ship will allow the group to optimize the fleet composition through continuous asset portfolio management.
