On December 4th, GeekPark reported that Amazon announced at the annual cloud computing service AWS conference the launch of a new artificial intelligence (AI) platform. Amazon's CEO Andy Jassy stated that the AI model developed by the group, Nova, can provide customers with a better experience. The short video production tool Nova Reel will help internet users create promotional videos for products to be played on the Amazon platform more conveniently. Additionally, during the AWS conference, Apple's Senior Director of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Benoit Dupin, revealed that Apple uses custom artificial intelligence chips from Amazon Web Services in many of its cloud services, while also evaluating the use of Amazon's latest AI chips to pre-train its Apple Intelligence model. Dupin mentioned that the efficiency can increase by 40% using Amazon's AI chips. However, Dupin clarified that the use of this chip is limited to pre-training models and will not actually run Apple Intelligence features.
