Mastercard (MA.US) stated that an agreement has been reached in principle to settle the collective lawsuit filed in London regarding card fees on behalf of consumers in the united kingdom.

The company indicated that in the latest round of cases at the competition appeal court, it announced that an agreement has been reached with Merricks, who is the collective representative of the plaintiffs, to resolve the case, subject to approval by the arbitration tribunal. It is reported that the settlement amount is approximately 0.2 billion british pounds.
