Regarding the third quarter performance, Chairman and General Manager Xu Yanming of Zhuhai Guanyu stated at the earnings conference: "The company's net income decrease is mainly due to the higher profit base brought by the exchange gains in the same period last year, while the expenses for developing new projects led to rapid growth in this period."

For the solid state battery business, Xu Yanming introduced to the "Star Daily" reporter: "The company's solid state battery samples currently have good safety performance and cycle life." It is reported that the company's solid state battery is still in the laboratory sample stage, and the company is participating in Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology's key R&D program: development and industrial application of quasi-solid state lithium batteries.

Zhuhai Guanyu's main business is the R&D, production, and sales of consumer-grade polymer soft pack lithium-ion batteries, while also expanding into power lithium-ion batteries. The products are mainly used in laptops, tablets, smartphones, smart wearable devices, drones, automotive start-stop systems, and electric motorcycles.

"The company's products have been widely used in consumer drones, industrial drones, and have accumulated rich experience in related fields." Xu Yanming told the "Star Daily" reporter at the earnings conference, "In addition, in the manned aircraft field, the company is actively exploring and laying out, currently actively engaging with customers to develop and design products that meet customer needs."

In the field of power and energy storage battery business, Zhuhai Guanyu positions automotive low-voltage lithium batteries as its core business and differentiated competitive advantage. "The company's technical strength and development potential in automotive low-voltage lithium batteries have successively gained recognition from many domestic and foreign well-known car manufacturers such as SAIC, Zhiji, Jaguar Land Rover, Stellantis, GM, and a certain leading German car company. In addition, the company is actively engaging with several other well-known car manufacturers, with multiple products gradually increasing in volume, and has become the main source of revenue for the company's power business." Xu Yanming revealed at the earnings conference.

Regarding consumer battery products, Xu Yanming believes that with the rise of the AI wave, major manufacturers are actively exploring new opportunities for integration and development with AI large models. AI is expected to lead a new round of product innovation cycle in consumer electronics, further stimulating the growth of end demand.

In terms of production capacity, the company plans to invest in building a battery project in Malaysia. "Currently, the project is in the initial construction phase," said Xu Yanming. "The company's investment in building a battery project in Malaysia is mainly to meet customer demand and to enhance the overseas industrial layout strategy."
