Gelonghui Finance ·  Dec 3 10:07

On December 3, Gelonghui reported that honeywell lowered its profit and sales forecasts for the fourth quarter and the full year to account for the impact of investments related to the agreement to provide aviation-related technology to bombardier. Honeywell revised its fourth-quarter sales expectations from $10.2 billion to $10.4 billion down to $9.8 billion to $10 billion; the adjusted eps forecast decreased from $2.73 to $2.83 to $2.26 to $2.36. The agreement will provide bombardier's aircraft with honeywell's electric appliances, propulsion and satellite communication technology. Considering the investments in R&D, honeywell expects this agreement will impact in the short term. The company also added that it estimates revenue potential of up to $17 billion during the agreement period. Honeywell and bombardier also stated that all pending litigation between the two companies has been resolved.
