According to sources quoted by Reuters on December 3, Stellantis is considering promoting internal candidates to the position of CEO, potential candidates include North America business director Antonio Filosa and procurement director Maxime Picat, but also do not rule out the possibility of external hires. Picat, 50 years old, previously served as the European director of the Peugeot plant before becoming procurement director. Filosa, on the other hand, comes from Fiat and has previously served as the South American business director. Stellantis declined to comment on the above news.
