Macao Radio reported that the Macao Light Rail Hengqin Line officially opened today (2nd), with a total length of about 2.2 kilometers, featuring two stations, 'Lianhua Station' and 'Hengqin Station', with a travel time of about 2 minutes, and a train every 6 minutes.

Chairman He Jiangqi of the Macao Light Rail Company's Board of Directors stated that the opening of the Hengqin Line means that the rail transportation between the two places has been connected, making it more convenient for the integration and exchange between the two places, helping Macao more actively integrate into the 1-hour living circle of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. He also mentioned that the Macao Light Rail Company will make every effort to operate the Hengqin Line well, continuously optimize and improve service quality, strengthen safety management, ensure passengers enjoy a comfortable travel experience, and play a greater and broader role in public mass transportation.
