"Finished with 'Honey Butter Style Oil', a savory spicy tofu stew ramen!
Since 2019, Myojo Foods has been promoting the "MYOJO DESIGN PROJECT", which develops design-based products as an initiative for actively sharing technology, knowledge, and ideas rooted in the region, and discovering new attractions and ways to enjoy instant noodles, in collaboration with design schools.
The 6th installment of the 'MYOJO DESIGN PROJECT' has been commercialized as a vertical cup noodle, featuring award-winning works selected from 147 projects planned by students at Mode Gakuen.
In South Korea, flavors combining 'spicy and salty' with 'sweet' are extremely popular, with Yangnyeom Chicken and Honey Butter Chicken trending in Japan as well. This product combines the spicy 'Tofu Stew Ramen' with the sweet 'Honey Butter', resulting in an addictive flavor. The packaging features a bold and impactful appearance that reflects the creativity of design school students, cleverly combining the similar-looking kanji characters for 'spicy' (辛) and 'happiness' (幸), creating a visually delightful and unique design that momentarily evokes a '?'.
Please try this new sensation of Tofu Stew Ramen with a mix of spiciness and sweetness, and enjoy the South Korean vibe!

This project is a collaboration between Myojo Foods and a design school, aimed at sustainable regional coexistence through product development.
The task was to "design instant food that would be nice to have," starting from the planning stage by students and extending to package design, representing a different approach to product creation known as 'design-based and idea-driven product development.'
The judging is done in a point system by judges from Myojo Foods and the educational institution, with works selected in the first screening proceeding to the final selection where the students present their work. In the final selection, judging includes not only the package design but also the content of the presentation, leading to consideration of commercialization from among the selected excellent works.
