According to the Zhongtong Financial APP, Energy Intinv (00353) announced the interim performance for the six months ended September 30, 2024, with continuous operating income of 73.638 million Hong Kong dollars, a 52.83% year-on-year decrease; the net profit attributable to owners of the company was 20.881 million Hong Kong dollars, a 13.34% year-on-year increase; earnings per share 1.93 Hong Kong cents.

The announcement stated that the increase in profit was mainly due to the performance of the associate company acquired during the period of about 7 million Hong Kong dollars, however, some of the sales and distribution expenses were offset due to the increase in operating expenses for leasing self-operated gas tanks to independent third parties.
