According to Zhitong Finance APP, Affluentpartner (01466) released its interim results for the six months ending September 30, 2024, with revenue of 70.9 million Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 182.23% year-on-year; the loss attributable to shareholders was 6.227 million Hong Kong dollars, a year-on-year increase of 168.64%; basic loss per share was 0.92 Hong Kong cents.

The announcement stated that the loss was mainly due to an increase in the provision for impairment losses on pearl and high-end jewelry inventories, as well as increased administrative expenses resulting from the newly acquired business.
