Hutchtel HK (00215.HK) participated in the 6/7 GHz band spectrum auction this past Monday (25th), but considering multiple factors, such as the fact that the market currently lacks support for terminal equipment and infrastructure for that band, and that there aren't many markets or regions using that band, coupled with the absence of relevant application scenarios, the spectrum ecosystem remains immature; after evaluating the cost-effectiveness and considering the need to fulfill specified usage conditions within five years after winning the spectrum, the group ultimately did not actively bid.

After this auction, there is still remaining spectrum in that band, and Hutchtel HK has decided to continue closely monitoring market developments, planning to deploy again once technology, equipment, and the ecosystem mature.

The company emphasizes that it currently has sufficient spectrum resources and is continuously committed to enhancing network quality in various aspects, also regularly investing resources, such as introducing advanced ai technology, as well as re-harvesting existing spectrum to improve network performance and meet customer demands for mobile data services.
