On November 29, Geloanhui reported that zto express-W (02057.HK) announced that on November 29, 2024, zto express (the company's consolidated subsidiary) signed a property purchase agreement with Zhongkuai Future City, under which zto express agreed to purchase, and Zhongkuai Future City agreed to sell a property with a total construction area of 0.0225 million square meters, with a total price of approximately 0.18 billion yuan.
The properties to be acquired include Blue City (i) Building 1, floors 13 to 19, with a total construction area of 0.0141 million square meters, and (ii) Building 11, floors 13 to 17, with a total construction area of 8327.55 square meters, located at 586 Tongda Avenue, Tonglu County, Fuchun Future City, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.
The announcement stated that as part of the group's global strategy plan to improve efficiency and reduce operation costs, the group will establish a second headquarters in Tonglu County, Zhejiang Province. The property is strategically located in Tonglu County, with convenient transportation and complete supporting facilities, and will be used as the office space for the group's Tonglu headquarters and for the group's employee accommodation.
