The policy for traveling to Hong Kong and Macau with "one visa for multiple entries" and "one trip per week" has arrived.

According to the announcement of the Exit and Entry Administration, with the approval of the State Council, the Exit and Entry Administration of the People's Republic of China has decided to implement the "one visa multiple entries" policy for traveling to Hong Kong in Shenzhen City of guangdong Province, the "one trip per week" policy for traveling to Macau in Zhuhai City of guangdong Province, and the "one visa multiple entries" policy for traveling to Macau in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macau Deep Cooperation Zone.

Starting from December 1, 2024, residents of Shenzhen and holders of residence permits can apply for a "one visa for multiple entries" endorsement for traveling to Hong Kong, allowing unlimited visits to Hong Kong within one year, with each stay not exceeding 7 days.

Starting from January 1, 2025, residents of Zhuhai can apply for a "one trip per week" endorsement for traveling to Macau, allowing one trip per natural week to Macau within one year, with each stay not exceeding 7 days; residents of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macau Deep Cooperation Zone and holders of residence permits can apply for a "one visa for multiple entries" endorsement for traveling to Macau, allowing unlimited visits to Macau within one year, with each stay not exceeding 7 days.

Residents or holders of residence permits from Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and the Hengqin Guangdong-Macau Deep Cooperation Zone who meet the criteria (excluding national staff and active military personnel) can submit applications at the local public security authorities' immigration management offices through the manual window or the smart endorsement devices set at the window. Starting from December 1, 2024, the immigration management authorities of Shenzhen will no longer accept applications for the "one trip per week" endorsement for traveling to Hong Kong, but the already issued "one trip per week" endorsements that are still valid can continue to be used.
