Tesla (TSLA.US) Vice President of External Affairs Tao Lin stated that this year the company has shortened the payment cycle for supply chain partners compared to last year, now only about 90 days.

She went on to say that over 95% of the parts for the Shanghai Gigafactory come from local suppliers in china, and the achievements Tesla has made in china and even globally are closely tied to those partners.
