Gelonghui reported on November 27 that quali-smart (01348.HK) announced that for the six months ending September 30, 2024, the company's revenue was approximately HKD 58.3 million, of which the contributions from the toy division and the financial services division were approximately HKD 47.8 million and HKD 10.5 million, respectively, a decrease of approximately HKD 68.8 million or 54.1% compared to the group's previous period revenue of approximately HKD 127.1 million.

The group's net loss during the period was approximately HKD 10.1 million, with losses increasing by approximately HKD 0.2 million year-on-year. The increase in losses during this period was mainly due to (i) a decrease in revenue from the toy division, resulting in a reduction of gross profit by approximately HKD 8.8 million; and (ii) an increase in employee costs to approximately HKD 0.9 million.
