According to data from the Macao Statistics and Census Bureau, in October of this year, the number of inbound tourists traveling in groups increased by 14.2% year-on-year to 0.194 million people. The average occupancy rate of hotel rooms increased by 4.5 percentage points year-on-year to 87.3%, while the number of guests decreased by 5.8% to 1.176 million people, and the average length of stay remained at 1.6 nights. By the end of October this year, there were a total of 146 hotel establishments providing lodging services to the public, an increase of 9 establishments year-on-year, with the number of available rooms decreasing by 3.6% to 0.044 million rooms.
In the first ten months, the number of inbound tourists traveling in groups reached 1.691 million people, an increase of 84.9% year-on-year; group tourists from mainland china increased by 76.1% to 1.505 million people, while international group tourists increased 2.2 times to 0.162 million people, among which tourists from south korea (0.069 million people) and india (0.021 million people) increased by 3.1 times and 6.9 times respectively.
In the first ten months of this year, the average occupancy rate of hotel rooms increased by 4.8 percentage points year-on-year to 85.6%. The number of guests increased by 9.3% year-on-year to 12.068 million people, with the average length of stay remaining at 1.7 nights.
