clp holdings (00002.HK) subsidiary, clp power, and china national offshore oil corporation have signed a letter of intent to establish a joint venture in guangdong for providing liquefied natural gas refueling services, and have signed a cooperation agreement with terna electric to expand collaboration in electric vehicle charging and other new energy fund businesses in the greater bay area.
According to the letter of intent between clp power and china national offshore oil corporation, the proposed joint venture will sell and supply liquefied natural gas as marine fuel for ships and other vessels in hong kong waters, and this collaboration will facilitate the development of liquefied natural gas refueling services in the greater bay area, reinforcing hong kong's status as an international shipping center.
The company has established a joint venture with terna electric in 2022, and the latest agreement further strengthens the cooperation, as clp power will introduce terna electric's advanced electric vehicle charging technology to the hong kong market.
