今後とも川内原子力発電所の安全性等についてご理解いただけるよう、引き続き努力してまいります。This case involves the suspension of operations at Units 1 and 2 of the Sendai Nuclear Power Plant, with lawsuits filed against us and the government from the 1st (May 30, 2012) to the 12th (July 31, 2019).
So far, we have sought the dismissal of the claims on the grounds that there is no specific risk of serious accidents as claimed by the plaintiffs.
Today, the oral arguments for the captioned case were held at the Kagoshima District Court, and today marks the conclusion of the trial with the judgment delivery date set for February 21, 2025 (Friday).
We will continue our efforts to ensure understanding of the safety of the Sendai Nuclear Power Plant in the future.
