On November 26, Glonghui announced that Jiake Biotechnology-B (06998.HK) announced that the board of directors is pleased to declare that Somerley Cap Limited (a corporate entity licensed under the Securities and Futures Ordinance to conduct regulated activities of Type 1 (securities trade) and Type 6 (advising on institutional financing)) has been appointed as an independent financial advisor to provide advice on (i) the retention plan of Mr. Weng and the voting actions regarding this to the Independent Board Committee and independent shareholders under the listing rules; and (ii) the proposed merger, wash-out exemption, and the retention plan of shareholder personnel (including Mr. Weng's retention plan) and the voting actions regarding this to the Independent Board Committee and independent shareholders under the Takeover Code.
