According to Zhitong Finance APP, msctech (01632) announced that it expects the group to incur a net loss attributable to shareholders of approximately 10 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending September 30, 2024, compared to a net profit attributable to shareholders of approximately 15 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending September 30, 2023 (the same period last year).

The board of directors believes that the expected loss is primarily due to the adverse impact of the unfavorable macroeconomic environment on the group's business and the one-time gain from the sale of a subsidiary of approximately 25.8 million Hong Kong dollars that was realized in the same period last year.
