On November 25, Gelonghui reported that Muyuan Foods (002714.SZ) stated on the investor interaction platform that the company fully utilizes its large number of pig farms and factory roofs from hog farming and animal slaughter operations to construct distributed photovoltaic power generation facilities, meeting the self-requirements of various sites, while excess power is fed into the grid, thereby reducing electricity costs in the farming and slaughtering processes, lowering production costs, and enhancing the company's operational performance. At the same time, it is developing and utilizing green energy to optimize the energy structure, achieve low-carbon production, and promote sustainable development. As of the end of 2023, the company has established rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation facilities in 41 farming sites, with a total installed capacity of 207.9 MW.
