本プラットフォームにて選択可能な基盤モデルとして、日本電気株式会社が開発した生成AI「cotomi（コトミ）」を提供するため基本合意契約を同社と合意しました。Sakura Internet Inc. (headquartered in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, CEO: Kunihiro Tanaka, hereafter "Sakura Internet") is planning to offer a platform service for generative AI.
The platform being developed will provide APIs for connecting AI applications and foundational models including LLMs, as well as a vector database for cloud play "High Power" for generative AI. Utilizing these will ease the development of AI applications that leverage "High Power" compared to previous methods.

An agreement has been reached with NEC Corporation to provide the generative AI "cotomi" developed by them as a selectable foundational model on this platform.
Starting with "cotomi", the company plans to collaborate with various businesses both domestically and internationally to increase the options for foundational models on this platform. Through this initiative, businesses developing AI applications will be able to complete data communications and storage within japan based on the selected foundational model.
Sakura Internet will continue to contribute to the ongoing development of generative AI to meet the increasing demand for AI in the future.
