Data released by the National Financial Regulatory Administration shows that by the end of the third quarter of 2024, the total assets of insurance companies and insurance asset management companies reached 35 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.5 trillion yuan compared to the beginning of the year, growing by 11.2%.

Among them, property insurance companies had 2.97 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.5% compared to the beginning of the year; life insurance companies had 30.6 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.7% compared to the beginning of the year; reinsurance companies had 823.1 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2% compared to the beginning of the year; insurance asset management companies had 124.5 billion yuan, an increase of 18.3% compared to the beginning of the year.
