Gold prices rose for the fifth consecutive day, with the Jianxin Fund Shanghai Gold ETF AU and the ChinaAMC Gold ETF rising by 1.41% and 1.31% respectively. Brokerage stocks fell in the afternoon, with the E Fund CSI Hong Kong Bond Investment Theme ETF and China Southern CSI All Share Investment Banking & Brokerage ETF dropping by 5.98% and 4.95% respectively. New energy sector stocks weakened, with the CSI New Energy ETF and the HT-PB CSI PTVT IDT ETF Ping An falling by 5.02% and 4.83% respectively.
