According to the Securities Times APP, Morgan Stanley (MS.US) stated in a declaration that it has officially opened a new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore. The office is located in the IOI Central Boulevard Towers, covering an area of 107,000 square feet over five floors. The opening ceremony was attended by Morgan Stanley's CEO Ted Pick, Asia CEO Gokul Laroia, and Monetary Authority of Singapore Deputy Managing Director (Markets and Development) Leong Sing Chiong.
"We are excited to establish a new Southeast Asia headquarters, this investment reflects our commitment to Singapore and the broader region, we see enormous long-term growth opportunities," commented Pick. "The new headquarters will play a key role in Morgan Stanley's Southeast Asia growth strategy, enabling us to strengthen our presence and better serve our clients."
Since 1990, Morgan Stanley has been operating in Singapore, providing investment banking, stocks and fixed income research, securities trading, derivatives, csi commodity equity index, private wealth management, and investment management services to Singapore. In other parts of Southeast Asia, Morgan Stanley also has offices in Jakarta, Bangkok, and Manila.
