According to the "Science and Technology Daily", it was learned from the news office of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation that the "Deep Earth Engineering-ChuanYu Natural Gas Base" of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation has made another important breakthrough. The addition of 55.159 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves in the Tongnanba Gas Field of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation was successfully approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources, bringing the total proven geological reserves of natural gas in this gas field to 106.6 billion cubic meters, becoming another gas field with a volume of over 100 billion cubic meters in the Sichuan Basin.

Wang Wei, Deputy Chief Geologist of the Exploration Branch of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, stated that the next step will be to continue to strengthen the integrated evaluation and deployment of exploration and development, continuously expand the scale of the Tongnanba Gas Field, and create a new storage base for scale and increase.
