Hong Kong Airlines plans to return to the long-haul international market early next year, transforming into an international airline. Hong Kong Airlines stated that the number of flights has recovered to pre-pandemic levels this year, with an average passenger load factor of about 85%. The total number of passengers carried for the year is expected to exceed 5 million, meeting expectations. In addition, bookings for Christmas and the Lunar New Year have reached 85%, and there are plans to increase flights to Sapporo, Tokyo, and Seoul starting this winter.
