Manulife Wealth and Asset Management announced the appointment of Fabio Fontainha as the head of wealth and asset management in asia, effective from February next year. He will succeed Michael Dommermuth, who will leave the position at the end of this year, to lead the team in Asia.

Fabio Fontainha will be based in Hong Kong, reporting to Paul Lorentz, and responsible to Phil Witherington, President and CEO of Manulife Asia. He previously served at Citigroup.
