On November 20, Gelonghui reported that Chengdu Guibao Science & Technology (300019.SZ) stated in an investor relations meeting that silicon-carbon anode material for lithium batteries is one of the company's important businesses that it is actively developing. The company began independent research and development in 2015 and has an independent R&D team. After years of research, it has now formed various products, including silicon-carbon and silicon-oxygen, and holds 6 invention patents. In 2018, the company established the Guibao New Energy Materials Research and Development Center, building laboratories for material research and development, battery preparation, and battery testing. In 2019, a pilot production line for 50 tons/year of silicon-carbon anode material was completed, and the "high specific capacity lithium-ion battery silicon-carbon composite anode material" was identified as an advanced level at an international standard.
