Harbin Bank (06138.HK) and Bank of China (03988.HK) Heilongjiang branch have formed a financial service support team, becoming the official partner of the 9th Asia Winter Games (Asian Winter Games) in Harbin 2025. They jointly released the financial service plan for the Asian Winter Games, aiming to create a convenient, high-quality, secure and efficient financial service environment for the event.

The two banks plan to provide the organizing committee of the Asian Winter Games with comprehensive services for fund settlement and account management. A dedicated cross-border payment team will be established to enhance the efficiency of foreign exchange and cross-border payment services, meeting the needs for currency exchange and settlement. Harbin Bank and Bank of China will fully leverage technology to provide the event with currency exchange machines, ATMs, pos machines, and other self-service facilities. They will also set up currency exchange points at the airport and various athlete hotels, as well as establish a comprehensive, all-covering system for domestic and foreign currency payment and mobile payments channels to ensure payment security.
