According to Southern Metropolis Daily, Guangzhou Anju Group released the "Guangzhou Anju Group Co., Ltd.'s Announcement on the Acquisition of Existing Commodity Housing for Affordable Housing", intending to collect existing commodity houses for affordable housing projects. The collection period is from the date of the announcement to December 18 of this year.

According to the announcement, the scope of this collection is existing commodity houses within the administrative area of Guangzhou, with convenient surrounding transportation and relatively complete supporting facilities. The requirements for collecting houses include clear assets, liabilities, and legal relationships; obtaining the completion joint inspection opinion letter; the area is below 90 square meters; the property rights of the houses are clear and tradable, without restrictions such as seals, objections, etc. If there are mortgage or other rights restrictions, written consent of relevant rights holders should be obtained; priority selection of entire unsold buildings or units that can be closed for management.

Guangzhou Anju Group Co., Ltd. was established in September 2023 and is a state-owned enterprise of Guangzhou City with primary responsibilities for investment, financing, construction, operation of affordable housing, and operation management of supporting commercial properties in Guangzhou.
