ANA and Ota Ward in Tokyo through “ANA Hometown Tax”

All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd., ANA Akindo Co., Ltd. Tokyo Branch (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Branch Manager: Masaki Kubonai; hereinafter “ANA”) and Ota Ward, Tokyo (ward mayor: Suzuki Akimasa, hereafter “Ota Ward”) will utilize the “ANA Hometown Tax” system to increase the number of domestic and international visitors to the ward that Ota City aims for, disseminate regional appeal, and develop the regional economy.
Based on the important and close relationship between Ota Ward, which has Haneda Airport, which is the gateway to Japan, and ANA, which has many international and domestic routes departing from and arriving at Haneda Airport, “ANA Hometown Tax” has set up tours of ANA Blue Base (training facilities) and ANA Blue Hangar (aircraft factory) tours and “ANA ROOMS” developed at hotels within Haneda Airport, and will contribute to the development of Ota City.

Ota Ward, which has the largest area of the 23 wards, has Haneda Airport, which is the gateway to Japan's skies, and has such a diverse face that it is called the “epitome of Tokyo,” with nature such as the waterfront area and the Tama River, and over 3,000 factories boasting advanced technology, lively shopping districts, and quiet residential areas. Also, various cultures and history are still being handed down today, such as seaweed farming in Omori, Shochiku Kinema Studio in Kamata, and Magome Bunshi Village.
Furthermore, “Haneda Innovation City,” which is adjacent to Haneda Airport, aims to be a gateway connecting the world and the region by accumulating domestic and international people, goods, and information, and creating new businesses and innovations.
