Recently, it successfully signed the first insurance policy under the new “Insurance+Service” model, setting a benchmark for improving enterprise cybersecurity risk management.
Driven by the digital wave, cybersecurity has become the focus of attention. On April 2, 2024, Taibao Technology, China Taibao Industrial Insurance and the Shanghai Information Network Security Management Association jointly launched the “Cybersecurity Insurance Innovation Alliance”. The first batch of 6 member organizations will deepen the integration of production and service, build a comprehensive “insurance+service” cybersecurity solution, and further consolidate industry strength to jointly address increasingly complex cybersecurity challenges.
Taibao Technology has independently developed a “cybersecurity insurance risk control escort platform” based on its experience in the field of security. The cooperative ecosystem integrates with China Taibao Insurance's increasingly rich cybersecurity insurance services, and is committed to providing major enterprises with new “insurance+service” models such as pre-insurance assessment, in-insurance monitoring, and post-insurance emergency to help reduce cybersecurity risks. In promoting this model, China Taibao Industrial Insurance and Taibao Technology are working together to provide enterprise customers with vulnerability security alerts through platform risk assessments and provide “insurance+special inspection services” cybersecurity solutions to promote customer awareness of security risks and stimulate customer insurance decisions.
The launch of the cybersecurity insurance innovation model is an important step in China's Taibao's active implementation of five major financial articles, gathering the strength of all parties in the ecosystem to take an important step in integrating insurance and technology in the field of cybersecurity. It is also an exploration and practice of promoting the further release of the cybersecurity industry through financial means.
